For episode 9, we talked about nails & girls stuff with the lovely Maria, known as polishpeach on Instagram- a sweet & delicate nail tech that we appreciate! She has amazing skills when it comes to nail art and awesome inspiration when it comes for colors and patterns.

MG: What inspires you when it comes for your nail designs?
Inspiration is everywhere! My absolute favorite thing to paint on my nails is definitively flowers, and floral inspiration is literally everywhere! On Instagram, Pinterest, out in nature, patterns on clothes, book covers you name it!
MG: What's your favorite gadget/nail tool?
Favorite nail tool has to be a small detail brush! I use it for basically all my designs! Definitively a product I couldn’t live without (in the nail art world, that is!)
MG: What do you enjoy most about doing nails?
“Me-time” for me is doing my nails! I just find it so relaxing! I also really enjoy the challenge, and seeing my skills improve!
MG: What is your life motto/saying/quote?
“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent”. Yes, that is from the Princess Diaries movie. I love that movie, and I love that saying!
MG: How many gels do you own? What are your 3 favorite gels from Madam Glam?
I’m gathering up quite the collection, with 40+ gel polishes! It’s difficult to pick just 3 Madam Glam polishes, but I think maybe my top 3 would have to be Better than a Sapphire, a really beautiful electric glittery blue, Proud Nude, the perfect nude and finally, Honest Sky, a minty turquoise polish!
MG: Which celebrity would be your dream client? Why?
Tough question! Maybe Anne Hathaway! She’s always been one of my favorite actors, ever since the Princess Diaries, so that would be really cool!
MG:What’s your best tip for getting the perfect manicure?
My best tip for a perfect manicure is to take you time! Use thin coats, and let them dry properly between each layer! Don’t do your nails if you are short on time!
MG: What is your go-to manicure?
My go to manicure has to be a matte nude! If I have the time, I’ll add some flowers! Lately that’s what I’ve been obsessing over!
MG: Do you have any tip or advice to share with our community, younger and future nail techs or simply nail lovers?
My tip would be, believe in yourself, and trust the process! Sometimes a design can look funny in the beginning, but don’t give up! 9 times out of 10 the design will still look cool in the end!
